Programme Management – Associate
ETL provides consulting services that transform the environment and operations of our public and private sector clients, with a focus on health, science, research and higher education. We are a private limited consultancy company that is wholly owned by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
About The Role
We play an important role in the development of major infrastructure projects. Public and Private sector organisations invest large amounts of capital to transform their estates – without the right controls and governance in place there are variables that can jeopardise the success of a programme. Mitigating the risk and aligning all the projects keeps it focused, on-track and measurable. We have developed a series of successful tools and a methodology that enables us to pinpoint risk and prioritise positive actions.
More important than ever
In the last government spending review, they said that every pound of taxpayers’ money should make a meaningful difference which means large capital programmes are under scrutiny to deliver value for money especially those in the public eye. That shouldn’t hold back large scale transformational projects or limit the ambition that some organisations have when they are looking at the longer-term strategic benefits of developing world-class environments. Across health and science, there is a commitment from central government to invest in schemes that will generate a lasting legacy in these sectors. For organisations to realise that value there is a need for high-level leadership from experts who can manage these complex programmes to ensure they are delivered to the highest standards.
